As you grow and get better as a writer, your voice will become so strong that a reader will be able to read your script and know it is yours.

Yet another mega merger that would harm both authors and consumers highlights the need to revitalize antitrust enforcement. We need to block harmful mergers, and look at the anticompetitive market structures — — that encourage them.

This merger is obviously illegal. Random House editors and Simon & Schuster editors bid against each other for books. Now they won’t. Straight up pressing down author wages.

Cool. Maybe he can answer why he decided to make his investigation so narrow, what pressure Rod Rosenstein put on him, and why, with everything his clearance must have taught him about Barr, he left his report vulnerable to suppression.

8 months ago, I urged folks to get ready for time inside. I am preparing house/family again. It’s getting cold. demands it. Lessons learned: buy more dishwashing detergent; zoom cocktails better with time limit; force myself into jeans every other day. Otherwise, ready.

Indeed. Which is why, if Trump self-pardons, he *must* be charged, to force a court to determine its validity. Otherwise we are setting a precedent that Presidents are above the law. And if it isn’t valid (which it likely is not), then Trump would be SOL

Putin is in no hurry to acknowledge Biden’s victory because there’s no benefit. But showing loyalty to Trump, like a Godfather to a foot soldier, still bears fruit and likely will even after Jan 20.

The media have utterly failed over the past five years at calling out Trump's lies, corruption, and fascist tendencies, choosing instead to tiptoe around them in order to retain their profitable access to the closest thing to a fascist dictator the US has seen in its history.

Morning NPR: "The president has sounded somewhat divisive & frankly petty at times." Dangerous euphemism presenting as candor, post-election reframing of authoritarianism as merely politics & manners. The old press tradition of normalizing that which didn't ask to be normalized.

We're not only seeing the same crimes, we're seeing the *exact same criminals and enablers* getting away with them again and again due to our failed and corrupt institutions. That's the topic of HIDING IN PLAIN SIGHT:

This is an extremely important story that isn't getting the attention it deserves. After GSA initiated the presidential transition, I warned that there would still be new Trump sabotage to come. This is exactly what I was concerned about. Here's what's happening-- 1/

I stand by this. Even thought the PA Supreme Court dismissed this lawsuit, Congressman Mike Kelly's effort to block certification of his own election warrants a review by House Admin. If he doesn't think his election should be certified, the House should not seat him.

Loujain al-Hathloul has endured torture and abuse for over 2 years while detained.   The only just outcome would be her immediate, unconditional release. Any restrictions on her ability to travel or communicate would be unacceptable.   We stand by her.

It's a massive failure that Congress hasn't acted to help millions of food insecure Americans.   During this pandemic, I've spent time delivering and distributing meals to our neighbors in need. If you're able, consider helping out, too. But that's not enough. Congress must act.

Never forget that the Eric Trump Foundation was caught funneling cancer research money directly to Donald Trump. They stole money from children with cancer.
