DeSoto HS Senior Kimberlyn Coleman, an International Baccalaureate diploma program candidate who received her cosmetology license as a junior at DHS, was recently named the first place winner of the 2018 MLK Jr. Essay Contest in which Coleman was awarded a $1,500 scholarship.
