It’s heartbreaking that this discussion has to take place in our communities. We need more ventilators, we need more masks, we need more tests. Use the Defense Production Act, . Lives are at stake.

I just want to give a shout out to all the amazing legislators who are keeping our kids safe in VA. One semester’s worth of school for the chance to live beyond the school year? Keep doing what you’re doing!!

‘We are moving into a period of sacrifice.’ Yes we are . Farmworkers are sacrificing to keep food on our tables. It's long past time to pay them at least minimum wage! You can make this happen by amending SB7/ HB 395!

If taxpayers are being asked to give corporations a multi-billion-dollar lifeline, there need to be some strings attached. We’ve got to make sure that money is spent keeping workers on the payroll, not on stock buybacks or executive compensation.

Today is the 10th anniversary of the Affordable Care Act. Thanks to the ACA, more than 20 million Americans gained coverage. But President Trump is *still* trying to sabotage it—even amid a pandemic. It’s more important than ever to protect health care.

Any stimulus package should have true financial relief for American workers at its heart. I oppose the GOP bill that gives big businesses a hall pass to recover losses without requiring them to protect their employees—I'm pushing for a bill that prioritizes everyday people.
