3/ - The 5k ETH deposited into Compound was used to borrow 112 WBTC - The other 5k ETH was used as collateral to short WBTC on Fulcrum - The 112 WBTC were then sold on Uniswap to push the price down - Fulcrum WBTC short is cashed out at a profit and dYdX flash loan is paid back

4/ Currently, Fulcrum trading remains frozen. However, bZx lending and unlending is still operational as mentioned above. Judging by the time and the total ETH locked in bZx, ~$350,000 in ETH may have been lost Granted, this is speculation and the official details will follow.

Thanks for breaking this down! Seems like the biggest issue here was that the WBTC price could be moved so easily. Does take WBTC price directly from Uniswap? Or what does it use as an Oracle for that?
