For all developers: the final question for my survey on technical books :-) Have you read "Design Patterns" by the gang of four? (Please Retweet) Note that there's no shame in answering no :-)

The older I get and the more I teach the more I know that I don't understand anything at all. I can only have a certain point of view on things at a certain point of time.

I totally get your point and I think that you are right! There's a person singled out for no apparent reason, and that's not a good thing. If there's no context provided, it only causes confusion and assumptions... and I certainly want to avoid that :-)

Okay, folks. This is *hands down* the most amazing conference intro I've ever seen. Imagine seeing it on a 10m(?) wide screen as part of the audience. Everybody had goosebumps, incredible piece of work. 💙 Thanks for an amazing conference.

Unlike the rest, Gabi is part of our team at Dynatrace. We call her Gabi because she's our coworker and very dear to us, as we enjoy her company every day at work :-)

Haven't heard of the Expanse as of yet, but there's definitely some similarities 😃Makes me want to watch the show now! And yeah, the production quality is outstanding... thankfully the whole conference felt like the intro <3

Seeing this on the big screen with a live performance by Thomas and all these lights was an experience I'll never forget. Immediately set the tone and kept us all curious on what's coming up. 👏

Yeah! Here's the intro video from : - it's a mix of little CGI and real world macro recordings of fluids, smoke, etc. With an AMAZING soundtrack and lyrics by yours truly, turned into art and poetry by our Gabi ❤️

Seriously is one of the best organized, welcoming, and most visually gorgeous conferences Ive been to. In a unique and historical venue too! Recommend all to attend for next year. Thanks to and a special kudos to Liesa Schaumberger too.

Kudos to Stefan and his team! was just so well organized on many levels (timing between talks, available food/drinks, hard 30m limit, etc.). Looking forward visiting DevConf next year again!
