Trump, to Cabinet, again suggested that he is successfully ordering major foreign corporations around: "Germany called to say that they're going to be announcing some very big movement with respect to a certain company that I've demanded has to come."

Trump repeated his baseless conspiracy theory about the government of Guatemala and Honduras deliberately putting their hardened criminals in migrant caravans to foist them upon the United States.

Asked about his tweet repeating Peter Thiel's accusation against Google, Trump said, "He's one of the top -- maybe the top -- expert on all of those things."

After a long hiatus, Trump has returned to his story about women being trafficked in the "back of a van" through unwalled border. Experts told me they haven't encountered stories like Trump's. Victims are more often deceived into coming willingly, or coerced, than kidnapped.

Good fact-check dive into Trump's claims about prescription drug prices declining and Kirsten Gillibrand's claim that they aren't declining. In short, both of them have data to support their case.

Trump does this a lot: his "quotes" are often more like paraphrases. In this case, he accurately captured McCarthy's sentiments but not his precise words, which is usually what people use quotation marks for.

McCarthy says that the Democrats at yesterday’s press conference “talked more about impeachment than anything else.” They did advocate impeachment, but that wasn’t the bulk of their remarks. McCarthy then urges people not to be false about what’s really going on here.

House Minority Leader Kevin McCarthy says they don’t do a condemnation resolution for every offensive comment Democrats make. He says, “We are the party of Lincoln. This party believes in the content of the individual.” He suggests Democrats are the real bigots.

Rep. Liz Cheney opens the House GOP press conf by attacking the policies of the Democrats Trump is targeting: “I want to make absolutely clear that our opposition to our socialist colleagues has absolutely nothing to do with their gender, with their religion or with their race.”

This is at least the second time Trump has pretended that numbers among white voters are the only numbers. He’s also done it with 2016 election results, repeatedly claiming that he got “52%” though that was only his number with white women.

Those are not Omar’s or Ocasio-Cortez’s poll numbers in their districts or in the country. Trump was referring to a poll of...white likely voters with 2 years or less of college. Axios published it without saying who did it or provided it, and without full details.

Here’s Trump’s public schedule for tomorrow. (Public schedules don’t include all of a president’s activities.)

Trump falsely accused Ilhan Omar today of praising al Qaeda. She never did. He was referring to a 2013 clip circulating in conservative media. Even that clip doesn't include any praise. Full context in my fact check with :

Omar says "every single person who's brown and black" and "every single Muslim" has heard Trump's words from others before. She says she won't "dignify" his accusations with a detailed response, since every bigot "rejoices" when she is forced to answer to them.

Pressley says she doesn't want to spend too much time talking about Trump's words: "What we are focused on are the hateful policies that are draconian and oppressive and life-threatening and family-separating that is being rolled out by this administration every day."

Ocasio-Cortez says it's love of country that is behind their policy views. She ends: "We'll stay focused on our agenda, and we won't get caught slippin'. Because all of this is a distraction. It's a distraction from what's most important and our core values as American citizens."
