During their presser last week Trump said he hoped Zelensky could work things out with Putin. Tonight, protests erupted on Maidan in central Kyiv over Zelensky's backing of the Steinmeier Formula [capitulation to Russia re Donbass] with protestors chanting: “Zelensky out!”

Now Trump will be to demand the sanctions levied on Russia over Crimea be lifted. There's nothing he can do about the sanctions over Russia's election interference. But that's why he has Barr is flying around the world looking for way to exonerate Russia.
