Pretty sure the current role he was in told you the Yankees were looking at limiting his innings and he wasn’t going to be the ace...on the latter, well that was easily predicable

Remember this isn’t just a shot at mike, WFAN isn’t exactly going to be ecstatic about this either

I get what you’re saying, I find no value in anything Mike does but when you start getting sensitive because people are calling you on your lies, it’s petty and shortsighted...the headlines are only gonna get worse...then what?

He said you shouldn’t be drafting players that get into situations like Ballentine did smart players don’t put themselves in those positions...when confronted the next day, he said he didn’t blame Ballentine and wasn’t insinuating anything about him personally

Not in the traditional sense, but being on a WFAN show is no diff than being asked questions by a newspaper, the goal is to disseminate information to the public....regardless of mike being a jackass....

LOL, on one hand more respect should be shown to the caller who is doing the spot, but on the other hand if the giants continue to be sensitive to being ripped by the press when you truly earned it....gonna be a long year for all

Could also just buy the burger and not worry when inevitably one of these games runs a little closer than it should

No way!!!! You mean playing a garbage D1 team in week 2 who ends up losing by 52 doesn’t do well for ratings, this is truly ground breaking stuff!! Great job guys doing this incredibly important work. Look forward to your work next week vs Georgia

I think we’re in agreement but 1 point is being misconstrued. He’s definitely making throws he wasn’t last sea, he’s also making smarter decisions. However as he faces tms that bring more pressure (NYG & NYJ aren’t good at that) he will struggle as many QBs do, so will regress

Sorry but I can’t consider that an accurate assessment. When you’re not under as much pressure, your ability to make those throws are MUCH greater. Again he’s def improved, but better defenses will cause those numbers to regress, if you want to dispute that that’s your choice

Well when you have the most expensive backup in football, these are the types of points you want to make sure said mentor is driving home

I find it a little weird John Mara isn’t to be seen here, has anyone spotted him in the building?

Their secondary is pretty bad outside of Adams, pass rush isn’t very good and LB group was average at best before the injuries happened...not a good defense at all after those injuries happened...very clear Mosley leaving had a major negative impact on that team

Again I’m not disagreeing with your overall premise that Allen isn’t improved, I’m just saying some regression will probably happen with both Lamar and Josh

Agreed, however the defenses he has been playing are horrible...wouldn’t be shocked if that regresses a bit over the next few weeks, but it’s undeniable he looks better as a QB

Not stealing if you give it to him knowingly....Giants knew and chose to give it to him...not on Eli, that’s on the Giants!

Talk about narrow minded views...you’re limited in how you can fix the D right now, but since D is a major problem, don’t bother fixing the O which isn’t working either because the D is a bigger prob...team sport, fix the team, in ALL facets!

Hi Shaun, as crazy as it is to believe, scoring an average of 15 points per game is just as bad in today’s NFL as giving up over 30...both were bad and both need changes, plus you kinda drafted a QB really high so if the other isn’t adding any value, it’s time. Go w the facts!
