This is pretty good example of something I've seen a lot - someone tosses out something really extraordinary. And then immediately abandons it ... to proceed to say something else extraordinary. All without seeming to display any overt discomfort. /1

I find it a much more disturbing style than people who wear sandwich-boards and adamantly refuse to concede any point at all. /2

Everyone suffers from a tendency to "reason backwards from the desired conclusion to produce reasons to believe it". /3

But most people have the simple human decency to hate you and get irritated when, by due application of skepticism, you put them in a situation where it's really obvious that they are just manufacturing new rationales on the fly. /4

Not saying that irrationally blame people for your own inconsistency is *good* ... but it's more comprehensible than the weird invulnerable serenity of people who just cheerfully abandon rationales and invent news without any discomfort. /5

Notice how is allowed to speak without a bunch of masked left-wing arseholes kicking the crap out of him? The left are so self righteous that they believe the other side doesn't deserve any rights.

I don't believe I just heard what that man said: that the 'Zionists' conspired with the Nazis to send six million of their own people to their deaths. Are these the twisted perverted people who aspire to govern this country? If they are, God help the Jews.

The first point seems wrong but I have no knowledge of it, the second point is a matter of record. Hitler himself supported the creation of the Jewish state for his own ends, ie he didn't want Jews leaving soviet States to settle Germany where he claimed they meddled with economy

If there's anyone not blocked by Owen Jones it might be an idea to send it to hi, seeing as he's so fixated by one bigot being on the rally against anti-semitism. These are the people he defends
