There is a great Yoga Tradition in India but it is not separate from the dharmic traditions of the region, notably Hinduism or Sanatana Dharma. While one may gain benefit from Yoga at various levels one should honor the Yoga Tradition with humility and study it more deeply.

A blissful and proud moment for me! Successful completion of the ambitious Narmada-Shipra Link Project, envisaged during my tenure, will act as a blueprint for inter-linking of rivers nationally and help us realize the dream of Late Shri Ji & Ji.

How can a state deny access to national health care for its own people? West Bengal under Mamata Banerjee seems devoid of compassion, more concerned with bullying and intimidating people than helping them.

India as Bharat has awakened. Nehruvian India was a colonial shadow that went against the great gurus of the independence movement. Time for Bharatiya India to reclaim its vast civilization and timeless tradition at all levels.

The truth of the 2019 election is that voters, both rural and urban, thoroughly rejected Rahul and Priyanka Gandhi and the Nehru dynasty. To blame party workers or election trickery for the results is dishonest and arrogant. Blame goes to the leaders and their juvenile campaign.

Dhyāna or Meditation is the most important component of Yoga practice. It is an act of continuous contemplation. It helps to eliminate negative emotions like fear, anger, depression, anxiety and to develop positive emotions. It also helps in keeping the mind calm.

Vinay Prakash, a Dalit proudly celebrated India’s victory over Pakistan. It was objected to by the ‘scared minority’, which then went on to torch his thatched hut as he slept, charring him to death. Yet, secular-liberals accuse the majority of intolerance

David Frawley tweeted "Western asana experts are rarely true yogis in the higher sense of Yoga as meditation and Self-realization. Should not be allowed to dictate what Yoga is. True Yoga therapy should be part of Ayurveda and Vedanta.

Tamil Nadu has a civilization older and more enduring than the countries of Europe. Need not import failed Marxism from the West. Should share its own yogic culture worldwide starting with Agastya and Thiruvalluvar.

Veda is the knowledge and Yoga is its practice. Note my extensively referenced book on the Vedic origins of Yoga and the Vedic Rishis as Mahayogis and Jnanis. Contains a special chapter by Swami Veda Bharati.
