Indeed. Remote work is here to stay. Though I think much more of it will be employees working from anywhere 2-3 days a week, and at an “office” 2-3 days a week.

I think that’s likely 2 different studies. One showing interviews stink. And another showing general mental ability predicts performance. Actually there’s been several types of both. Any ideas on a study he might be referencing?

It's not about who you're fighting. It's about what you're fighting for. Your people want to know, now more than ever, how their work helps the company change the world. If you the goal you set don't speak to that. It's time to get new goals.

Agreed. I also favor an old school measure: the telephone. Checking in with someone through a quick call versus scheduling a zoom meeting for the next day adds more of a human touch.
