Good news! Federal judge blocked Texas law requiring state contractors not to boycott Israel. Lawsuit was filed by on behalf of Bahia Amawi, speech therapist who refused to promise not to boycott and subsequently her contract was not renewed.

Why blocking social media doesn't stop misinformation. Rumors spread by word of mouth - and in mainstream news (!!) - just as easily. For all its faults, tech provides an opportunity to debunk falsehoods & question media narrative, particularly where there's little press freedom
