So I forgot MLBPA negotiated for more off days during the regular season, so this is essentially what they want. Really, it's cool with me if it's cool with them. Season just seems soo long, and I'm a diehard. Also, there have only been 9 World Series game ever played in Nov.

Ahhh I gotchu! I do believe, still, that if they start games in February they need to cut 7-10 games off the current 162-game regular season schedule.

My two cents: Spring Training begins too early these days. Teams are now playing games for seven and some third months. And many players — whether it be peer pressure, competitiveness, or job paranoia — show up more than a week before they need to. Talk about mentally exhausting!

Just realized both of NDSU’s losses at home have come in buzzer-beating fashion. Brutal.

Jackrabbits have stormed back behind 21 combined second half points from Daum (14) and Jenkins (9). Bison lead cut down to 2 with 7:30 remaining.

The Bison picked a good time to play their best game of the season.

Bison have done a good job limiting Daum and making him make tough shots. He will still get 25, need to hold the others. Keep the tempo up and start second half strong.

NDSU 39, SDSU 30 at the half. Daum has 12 points but on an efficient 4-11. Shahid, Eady lead NDSU with 8 apiece.

It’s raining threes in the SHAC, courtesy of ! 7 threes in the 12 minutes, helping build a 31-20 advantage over #1 SDSU.

What start for the Bison, who have taken an early 17-7 lead over South Dakota State behind a lively crowd. Deng Geu has been a force at the rim defensively. Tyree Eady providing Richman yet another burst off the bench.

HUGE day in Summit League basketball! Bison could gain a game on SDSU AND the loser of Omaha v Fort Wayne with a win. Every single game in the conference today could swing seeding in Sioux Falls and I am here. for. it!

As long as he’s not a great defender he will continue to face scrutiny as a defender and athlete as the NBA game skews smaller and faster at his position. Will be watching closely to see if he gets an invite to the combine (I think he will).

Konchar is a better two-way player. But like you said, it won’t matter to the voters, who will likely base their decision by looking at Daum’s offensive numbers and ranks among NCAA leaders. His defense really seems to be holding him back from landing on draft boards.

Right. And yeah, Jenkins and Flatten are both All-Summit team guys. Those two shooting the lights out every night while Daum gets his doesn’t make for an easy game plan for opposing coaches.
