Enjoying ’s talk on Miniscript, policy language that compiles to Bitcoin Script. I’d thought that Ivy was the most minimal you could get without losing functionality, but Pieter points out even more features it could have left out (making it more composeable as a result)!

Miniscript only allows each witness argument (signatures, preimages, etc) to be used once, and doesn’t allow enforcing relations between them. He pointed out that there’s practically no useful scripts you need that for anyway! (“Exception” is hash collision bounties.)
