If you misgendered someone and are corrected pls say “thank you” rather than “I’m sorry” - apology forces that person to tell you it’s ok, which is strange. THANK YOU suggests that u understand it’s not okay and you’re grateful to have been corrected!

O agree with this and would like to add that if someone does say they're sorry that trans people should practice saying "you're welcome" instead of "its okay". Everyone needs to take a but more charge and I know it's hard but we'll all be okay eventually ❤

This is basic psychology that therapists teach parents of trans kids. It’s affirmation of their identity. Do what u want though. It’s yr life and they’re you’re trans friends. Treat them how u see fit.
