Hey everyone, we made a temporary change to the Retweet function. When you hit the Retweet button, you can either add a comment to Quote Tweet or leave it blank and hit the Retweet button.

Thanks everyone. Apparently we now have to quote tweet but nothing in and that's a retweet.

There’s no way to do that in app that I see. But maybe I’m just clueless. Probably.

CAN-SPAM would seem to apply, and I’ve raised this with twice now, with no luck.

Yeah, I don't work for Gmail. But there is a difference between someone forwarding you their email (which seems pretty stupid) and a bank not verifying an email.

Fortunately (or amazingly) hasn't sent me anything super revealing. I've been told things like the location where this person's ATM card was declined (and the last four digits). I know their full name. Info about a recurring transaction. Last four of checking.

And FYI, I've contacted before on this issue and finally heard back with basically a “¯\_(ツ)_/¯“ there's nothing we can do, we're unable to remove an email address even if it's your email address.

Dear (or any business). If you would just provide an unsubscribe email link *outside* of an account page, then I could unsubscribe from the emails meant for someone else who does have an account with you but used my email (which you never verified) by mistake.

It's not going to look any different. It's just a way to better identify web pages that are relevant to a query. The way we show relevant pages now? Still the same if we show a page based on improved ranking technology.

If you feel your URLs should have words in them for whatever reasons, such as to help users and so on, then yes, I would think it makes sense you translate those as well.

General PSA. If you're translating content into another language, such as from English to Spanish, do make sure you're also translating things like the <title> tag. Otherwise, Google (& probably others) will show the original untranslated titles for your listings.

Yes, I found that strange, too. It used to be you could select multiple languages without going into the edit area. I'll pass this on.
