After 10 days in the south of France time for a leisurely drive back. First stop last night at Les Village Des Meuniers what a great site and we will be back for longer. Best bit of advice if you’re coming to France get an Emovis tag for the tolls.

Really sorry to hear Mark. Only met him a couple of times when he visited Garlands but was so interested in the business and how we were doing. A remarkable man for many reasons. My condolences to all your family.

I had one as my company car in 1999. It was good fun and a forerunner to the MG ZR. When I left they gave the car to another member of staff who had the orange grill painted silver, then wrote it off. The quilted red leather was interesting!!

I took an ex taxi in part exchange once with 425000 miles on the clock against a new Octavia. Apart from the usual tyres clutch exhaust etc it was running on the original engine and gearbox. Regular servicing was key.

why can’t Vodafone see my next bill. I can. Four times I’ve contacted you to get my account corrected still not sorted. Lots of excuses absolutely appalled by the service and I’ve been with you for years. Maybe not much longer.

I remember as a kid seeing an Alan Mann Escort exactly the same in the local Ford dealer showroom Manton Motors near Croydon. From that day I wanted one 50 years later still not got one!!!

It was the wife’s birthday today so had a great day there walking, eating, more walking and more eating! The snowdrops were tremendous especially those outstanding examples in the alpine house. Back soon for the Great Brick Safari 😃
