I now need to read Inspector’s report in detail but expect that won’t be possible until later next week. He also comments on sewage and flood concerns.

2/2 Urge any constituents to give me their feedback on the Inspector’s conclusions on the Draft Plan for the East. He also concludes in favour of previous Plan against development of King Edward Bay golf course and Howstrake Holiday camp

Happy to discuss with you, Fiona. I can see both sides. Briefly my concerns include- Why only for sex offences; What impact could be on justice system in terms of awareness; How it will work in practice with some named. It’s a big change that would benefit from more debate

Really sorry not to have received more support for my amendment. Worried the new Bill will prove unworkable.

I remember all journos heading into work on Sunday. All spilling out, talking to people. Massive headline MURDER MANHUNT. All front page articles. And group byline. Biggest selling paper. Suspect was apprehended (Colby?) after paper hit street. Good result.

Love Pippa, love her outlook and love her food! Hate that she’s so far away. (Port Erin 23 miles from Maughold. That’s a long way in ) On the plus side, weekends in Port Erin - and so many places to choose from. IOM: Even when the weather’s bad it’s good here
