Feels like Toronto has a new beach, at the end of the Leslie Street Spit. I don't remember people hanging out here like this last time I was here.

France during The Great War, 105 years ago. I've restored this autochrome taken in 1915 by Léon Gimpel of a boy named Pepete, playing in his toy monoplane in Rue Greneta, Paris (11 years after the Wright Brother's 1st powered flight). This astounding image is not colourised.

The old town of Poggioreale (podium regale) in Sicily, destroyed by earthquake 1968. You can go in and explore old churches, theatres, piazzas--but watch for snakes.
