I would appreciate if anyone can share my page. I dont have many followers yet (but I do have amazing ones) I would be happy to share anyone page too. I'm a 14 year old deaf girl from Scotland who has anxiety and I want to help teach people signs and song for fun and education x

If student results are outstanding, but the health of staff is damaged, then I don’t really care what the inspectorate or anyone else says - that’s failing the profession and the long term learning of so many children.

Holy shit I knew we were still trying to debunk learning styles but I thought brain gym was dead and buried.

Those things are exactly what we are being encouraged to teach. I want to improve my knowledge of real critical thinking so I can argue against the direction we are being told to take.

Mark could you recommend any books or articles that could improve my knowledge of critical thinking as you define it. Big push (again) in Scotland for us to be teaching skills like critical thinking.

Everyone outside the cult knew on 12 September 2015 this was where this would end up. We were heading that way in 2017 until a freakish bandwagon bailed Labour out. Too many people deluded themselves that it was something more than a backlash against a complacent Tory campaign.

"One of the most debated findings from PISA has been that teacher-directed instructional practices tend to better predict student achievement than student-oriented learning. Some consider this a statistical fluke; but it has been a consistent finding."

I would, it’s terrifying too but same idea, people with incredible talent and belief in their own skills and even though several die each year they are convinced it won’t happen to them. Some people are just wired differently.

Look at the map, at the top there. Aberdeen is North, everywhere else is southern and soft.
