Me: Dude, I’ve had an idea for a side project. I worry it’s gonna be a huge effort to make it happen but— *moments later* : Cool. I’ve got it working. What next? This has happened to me twice now.

It’s less for representative data; I just want Windows’ devtools proper :)

The surface area of managing dependencies was greater than the work of actually building things. Look into Lerna JS 👍🏼

Thanks. I reckon the XPS might be a bit much for my needs. I’ll look into getting hold of a Surface Pro :)

I have a Browserstack account (I love it!), but this is for much more forensic performance testing rather than design stuff :)

💻 If I were to get a Windows machine to make IE/Edge testing a first-class citizen, what should I go for? The Surface Book seems overkill. Surface Pro? cc.

A lot of public (e.g. hotel, train, airline) wifi will MitM you and downgrade you to an HTTP/1.0 connection. It has performance benefits, too.

A mixture. The super forensic performance stuff is quite manual, but I have lots of tools to help me out otherwise.
