The EPA's new science policy means the agency will no longer be able to create public health regulations based on the scientific consensus that air pollution kills people. I know that sounds like it can't be true, but it extremely is.

People don't have a strong intuitive sense of how much bigger 1 billion is than 1 million. 1 million seconds is about 11 days. 1 billion seconds is about 31.5 years.

Just realized I won’t be able to watch tonight’s Notre Dame game on TV at home. (I have Comcast, which hasn’t added the ACC Network; campus has DirecTV, which has.) Only upside is using this as an example in my Sports & TV class.
