All a matter of priorities. Agree to disagree.

I guess you’re right. Nothing creates prosperity like perpetual war. Better to stick to what you know.

I haven’t worked out every detail but I think some pretty decent infrastructure could be put in place with that money. Why is a blank check for killing people never questioned but the same for helping them is “unrealistic”?

Why should those companies get the welfare and not the people?

So think perpetual war is a moral foundation for an economy?

If you’re thinking in terms of just hiring caterers then that’s an extremely limited view of how to spend the money.

They are nonsense. I don’t doubt his math. I doubt his philosophy.

I think you have trouble conceptualizing how much a $trillion is.

You already do that. Except the 15% you pay goes to the war business and picks up the slack of those who should be paying a hell of a lot more. Why not throw it all in together for the good of all? Why is this such a scarier concept than perpetual war? It’s insane.

Long enough time set up sustainable systems to do so. Why is costly war always the better investment? Do you think the outcomes of the Iraq war were worth the investment? Better to go broke feeding your neighbours than trying to kill them. Killing is ALWAYS way more expensive.

The Iraq war has cost almost $4trillion to date. You could have ended poverty the world over for that money and no one would ever have a reason to go to war again.

You’re doing that already. You’re giving it to Lockheed, Halliburton, Bell, and a host of crooked Insurance companies. Why not funnel that money into the public good?

You sir, are a living example of why expanding education and making it more accessible in the US is crucial.

Interesting read. If they don’t find him guilty it basically means he can do anything. It’s open season.
