Although his victim was shaken by the approach, she gave evidence at his trial and Khaliq was convicted in August of indecently assaulting her. She was 14 at the time. He could not be identified until the outcome of the witness intimidation case. MORE:

🌍Mr Hill highlighted how the CPS's global network of prosecutors have also achieved notable successes in domestic cases, including that of murderer Shahid Mohammed who was last year returned to the UK from Pakistan to face justice for a petrol bomb attack that killed 8 in 2002.
