I'm honestly getting tired of repeating myself. So this is my last Twitter statement on this People, influential people, journalists and the media outlets are making this confusing by continuing to use the language "easy mode" - Accessibility means options, not easy gameplay

Replying to @EdLoBran @stevenspohn
Accessibility has never and will never be a compromise to my vision.

To me, accessibility does not exist in contradistinction to anyones creative vision but rather it is an essential aspect of any experience you wish to be enjoyed by the greatest number of humans as possible. Sorry to all the Llamas πŸ¦™...this is just not for them.❀️😬

Cool and all, but not all experiences are tailored for the masses, the whole discussion when people complained about difficulty but called it accessibility. Games like the soulsbourne games and sekiro are accessible, but they are difficult. Still cool if games become more accesib

Something can be both difficult and have a good suite of accessiblity features. I believe (my take after only 1 conversation with him) Miyazakis games are about creating a strong meaning + weight to everything you find, not being difficult for the sake of being difficult.❀️

Yes, i love From Softwares games. They are some of the top developers today. Not sure why you are lashing out like i am denegrating FS though. Strange.

Bad logic. Its like trying to remove elements in Recipe just because someone has allergy to them, even though same elements give taste to it. You buy different dish.

So if I'm telling you as from tomorrow you can't play video games anymore, you'll start, what, reading books instead? Nice, go on! No more VG for you, go buy something else. And FYI, if someone has allergies, we do remove or change ingredients. That's called being understanding.

Completely misrepresenting the issue and taking the debate in a completely new direction. Cory is a cool guy, great artist but here (at least I hope) he is mistaken and not knowingly using accessibility and easy mode on the same context in regards to this discussion.

C'mon Cory, please tell me you read the room and there is a rational reason you took the debate in this turn to attack Fromsoft on accessibility features for disabled gamers instead of 'easy mode'. Way to stir the pot & punch down when you are ontop.
