I look at award voting as total output, not per game. If latter, what stops a guy with 20 good games from winning?

that language was made in the Calder definition just to apply to the WHA. The KHL has historically not applied.

pretty much, the draft is seen as light because of the Canadian crop. 2 straight years of "bleh".

Overall not a fan of the 2017 draft but still a long way to go/lot changes in 6 months. He's not a blow you away #1.
