Perhaps Premier Horgan will finally show some leadership and ask the Prime Minister for support of our communities impacted by the crisis in our forest based communities.

NDP Leader John Horgan in 2017 -a lumber mill closure "never would have happened under an NDP government." Today as B.C. Premier in 2019? Silence. "Mill closure, city in crisis"

I have been a very strong advocate of asking for a review if impacts following the severe 2 years of wildfires and floods. We have witnessed significant damage in roads and bridges. Funds need to be put in place to address these challenges.

Round table with on forestry issues. It’s time for John Horgan to show some leadership & set foot in the Interior/North to talk to workers, contractors & small biz impacted. They need & deserve help from the gov’t. We’re resilient and will get through this!

Excellent meetings in Clearwater, Valemount and McBride today. Heard lots about the rapidly evolving forestry crisis, rural health care, and infrastructure, hydro, cell phone and high speed Internet needs in rural B.C. In Prince George tomorrow.

John Horgan hasn’t set foot in the Interior since the sector crisis began. Forestry workers, their families & communities need & deserve support from the BC government. A Premier missing in action is not leadership.

Productive day with meetings in Cache Creek, Ashcroft & Merritt. Folks concerned with forestry crisis and wondering where the heck John Horgan is. Also heard lots about struggles in agriculture, and need for primary health care resources and seniors housing in rural B.C.

With BC forestry communities struggling to stay afloat, Horgan's NDP have made a bad situation worse with their reckless actions. On top of mills closing all over BC, they're now trying to impose a ban on new projects—killing jobs & economic growth.
