Pubs in Copeland have raised a glass to a £108,000 discount on their business rates. One hundred per cent of the 54 pubs that were eligible for the relief have now claimed their £2,000 discount through Copeland Borough Council.

Our offices will be closed bank holiday, May 28. The crematorium will close, but the Chapel of Remembrance is open 9-4.15pm. The Beacon is open 10-4.30pm with family events during half term. The emergency number for dangerous structures, homelessness & flooding is 01946 598300
