How would breaking changes work with shipping apps? Apps built against 13.0 might not work with 13.1 for example?

Right now adding and searching feel quite secondary being tucked away to the left. Also it feels not clear if the left hand grid has a selection. Hope that helps.

What are the common tasks in order? Searching for a card Looking at a particular card Editing a card Flicking between cards Adding a card etc I would order that list of actions, and then change the layout to match that prominence.

You are looking to avoid reloading as you move between views? I think a good pattern is to always check a cache first, passing the current time as a way to determine if a refetch is needed or not. An observable is just a delivery mechanism not necessarily the source of truth?

I need to return to spend more time on it — I was writing and linking to topics that I find fundamentally useful for creating on the web:

Notes Pro: a new take on the collaborative assets problem, lets most people organise better than the files & folders paradigm. Just start writing and attach files to get started. Add from apps using share sheet. Get many Notion-like features. Work as teams. Update in real time.

iMessage Pro: Basically a Slack ‘killer’ that comes bundled with every new phone, has great integrations with third-parties, allows you to create multiple channels within a team. It works on all platforms and is largely independent, and can provide sweet services nectar.

- Included iMessage Pro that teams can use to collaborate, works on the web and Android too for $ - Notes Pro that I can use to share working files to replace parts of Dropbox - Improved photo sharing - Way better Siri integrated into the system instead of a veneer on top

I love datalist but it only recently got support in Safari AFAIK and I have been seeing weird focus bugs there. Input / textarea / label / button have always worked great.

Thanks! What’s the advantage over an array that you keep sorted? This API allows you to add something with a sortIndex and it gets ordered properly. And then dequeue the highest priority item. So a normally sorted array has some pitfalls here?

But there’s a return keyword, doesn’t that make it multiple expressions?

I think it makes sense to separate the ObservableObject from the cache. When the ImageFetcher is used, it checks the outside cache first. The hierarchy is currently: View | ImageFetcher | cache I think it should be more like View cache | | ImageFetcher

If I can take a peek of your results sometime I would be curious, as 2 years ago I was helping people get into their careers :)
