Grant Spotlight! completed their sensory garden, thanks to many individuals and groups involved in the project. is happy to have contributed $12,000 towards this project. The sensory garden turned out great and the kids will enjoy using it!

We enjoyed our road trip to Salida this week to visit Guidestone Colorado. They used the $8,000 grant from to expand their Farm to School Initiative and feed students. The program also grew food for hospitals and to sell at the farmer’s market.

Congrats to the Science Center and their updates to the greenhouse at Brush Creek Elementary in Eagle. The $10,000 grant from was used for the new planter boxes inside and outside the greenhouse along with a pergola for outdoor classes and a new fence.

We visited the Centennial Mental Health Center in Fort Morgan to see progress on their community garden this week. A $10,000 grant from was awarded to help garden. There is still a lot to do, but the garden is producing some great vegetables.

Grant Feature: The Montezuma Orchard Restoration Project in Cortez has completed the grafting of 1,438 rare and endangered heritage apple trees from an $11,000 grant. They are working hard to restore the apple orchards. Great job!
