Keokuk gets a big conference win at home over Washington 69-63. Anthony Potratz led us with 32 pts and 7 rebs. Alex Wolter added 14 pts and 7 rebs. We finish up the first half of the season at conference leading Fairfield Thursday Night.

Unfortunately I did not have internet access tonight, but the girls team lost 38-30 to Central Lee while the boys team won their first game of the year 51-41. Players of the Game were Michenna Davis and Alex Wolter.

Jalen Hurts might be the greatest example anyone could possibly use to show what it means to be a great teammate. Doesn’t whine, doesn’t complain, doesn’t make excuses. Accepted his role as a backup and stepped up when his number was called again leading his team to a comeback.
