Of course, ’s my wife, so I’m a little biased here. But she also happens to be brilliant, funny, wise – one of a kind. This book tells her quintessentially American story. I love it because it faithfully reflects the woman I have loved for so long.

The agreement reached yesterday contains no guarantees or deal for a close trading relationship, but asks MPs to approve a £40bn divorce bill with nothing in return. That is why we need a People's Vote.

This general election schtick I don't get, why on earth do people think a general election would help Brexit, hardly anyone thinks on a single issue in a GE as proven last time, also why does anyone think a GE would lead to any other result than the one we have now. What then?

Very touched by these festive boxes donated for homeless people in Nottingham. A lovely idea & a positive alternative to giving money in the street.People often ask what they can do to help rough sleepers or those in temporary accommodation,I’d say this is a great way to help!

Not a land grab - just one council for Nottingham. Can’t have a Unitary County running half of Nottingham.

So why didn’t they do it then? Obvious that the City needs to expand so its boundaries reflect what everyone knows as Nottingham. But options fixing that were ignored so County consultation incomplete and fatally flawed.

Did you know that Framework's Street Outreach team are out 365 days a year in the early hours, offering help and support to anyone sleeping rough in ? Play your part - when you see someone on the streets, tell us so we can offer help 💚

Cllr Alan Clark was posthumously awarded the Green Energy award for his role as the Portfolio Holder for Energy and Sustainability. We all acknowledge his role in making Nottingham one of the UK’s most sustainable cities, especially through the use of solar power.

. The white ribbon campaign commits men to never commit, condone or remain silent from domestic violence. There is now an opportunity for Nottingham to be an accredited city. This will build on the legacy of several years working alongside this campaign

Universal Credit is proving a disaster for hundreds of thousands of people. It’s time for the roll out to be halted. Government blindly muddling on hoping no one notices the UC mess because everyone is focused on Brexit.

Universal Credit is a disaster that typical of Tory policies, is hitting the poorest hardest. The role-out should be stopped, problems fixed and be properly funded before it does any more damage to our communities.

There is. And everyone found by Framework during their nightly outreach patrols will be offered accomodation. And anyone sleeping rough who asks for accommodation will get it. Sadly some refuse and some don’t ask and we can’t force people to take what’s on offer.

Around a thousand people came along to Victoria Embankment this evening to see the War Memorial lit up for 'Battle's Over - A Nation's Tribute'. Music and poetry marked the centenary of the Armistice.
