A2: Most of my ideas come to me when I'm driving or walking. The driving thing is ridiculous because I have to keep repeating the idea out loud, over and over, until I can pull over and write it down.

Driving helps me too! But it has to be a long drive and an endless road, bc then it's just me and my ideas. Being the passenger helps too.

I often have ideas while HALF-listening to the radio and something about tuning out the news helps me focus. (And wilderness daily dog walks are great for mind-wanderings)

I get this. Sometimes I need quiet, but othertimes having the tv or family dialogue in the background helps me think (to a certain degree). And ditto on the daily dog walks and mind-wanderings.
