The way that April & other POC were treated at ALAMW is appalling & the reason I push back on narratives of libraries/librarians as spaces/people with inherent magical goodness. We're not immune to the white supremacy and toxic masculinity that exist in society. We reflect it.

For wiki conferences we need to move from having "hack days" to "ideation day" or something similar. People who are not technical fret that they do not have a place in the hack. They do. I have been that fretting person and have been totally productive.
