why is it such a headache to contribute to any project governed by one or more large tech companies. it's almost like they specifically don't want input from the outside 🤔

we would also need the "Certify Safe" checkbox or something similar (maybe GH already has it) to make sure arbitrary code isn't run on your infra

so, i just received a follow up email to my tweet below from someone at amazon. turns out that they do have (starting fairly recently i believe) a "do not contact unless the position is remote" option. assuming that's true, 😍
