I went inside the detention center again. Again, men and women broke down in tears speaking of their families, and they described fleeing terrible violence, rape and trauma. Nearly all want asylum. I promised we would keep fighting to defeat this cruelty and get them released.

Our fight for families separated at the border is far from over. This administration still has no clear plan to reunite thousands of children with their parents. These moms, dads and kids are counting on every single one of us to keep fighting for them. Here’s how:

You talk with supporters, tweet to supporters, hold rallies with supporters. But don't communicate w/ the American people. No news conferences, TV addresses, town halls with people who disagree with you. What are you afraid of? You're president of the U.S., not just of Trumpland.

Please RT IMAGES (and the outcry from those images) made stop the separation of families so I am offering $25,000 to anyone working inside a "tender age detention center" who sneaks out 5 MINUTES OF VIDEO of the children being kept there No questions asked.

Secretary Nielsen privately told lawmakers the Administration may go back to separating children from their parents. Congress must ensure that NEVER happens. I'm urging the House Appropriations Committee to prevent funds from ever being used to separate families entering the US:

It is shockingly difficult for immigration attorneys to locate children separated from their parents at the border. Today I spoke to lawyers who represent more than 400 parents. They've located two children.

Projection on the U.S. House of Representatives on family separation. Tomorrow the House votes to create family internment camps & doesn’t end family separation. Call your Rep. at 202-224-3121 and say vote no on HR 6136.

🚨🚨🚨 Representatives will vote TODAY on 's bill to cram immigrant families in prison camps, further militarize our border, and hold Dreamers hostage in exchange for Trump's border wall. We have to call our reps now and demand they vote no.

We must keep raising our voices and fighting the Trump administration's treatment of immigrants and refugees. How are they going to reunite kids with parents? What happens after the 20-day period? They owe these families answers.

The Department of Homeland Security is tearing young children away from their parents. It is abhorrent. It is immoral. And the administration could stop this today. But since they won’t, Congress needs to step up.
