Looks like options.backgroundColor lets you set the color, and there's also a className option that would let you do anything you wanted

I work a lot with people who have widely varying skillsets, and often infra-heavy skillsets. The less they have to learn outside of what business goal they're trying to accomplish the better. This is a large part of why I argue for encapsulating CSS in components.
