when you say shifting ownership of data to students, does that mean student consent prior to data collection and data sharing? Can you explain? thanks!

We are working w/ great partners to provide resources to parents & students to make them smarter consumers of data AND working with schools & districts to make sure they are aware of the latest guidance and resources.

For example check out and great new one pager for parents about smart questions to ask or FERPA SHERPA or rankings for tools - we love to highlight this great work of our partners!

tagline still says shift “ownership of data to schools & students“ ...I really am curious. If students cannot to data collection and use, then really isn’t ownership. Maybe they need to change their mission statement.

Can you tell me more about your parent voice initiative? I believe students shld their data and we need GDPR-like laws here. Not sure my views would match yours...Would my voice count? Thanks!
