Thank you for mentioning SingleFile here . Regarding the cons, please note that SingleFile cannot sync but it can save pages on Google Drive. It also has a annotation editor that allows you to highlight text, add notes, and delete content

My 2 cents. You know what would improve interoperability today? Make Web Components deserializable without relying on JavaScript.

The future of MHTML support on Chrome seems compromised... Will web Bundles really solve the interoperability problem? The chances of Mozilla (and Apple) implementing this specification are quite thin.

Prouvez l'existence d'une page Web en un clic avec l'integration de la preuve d'existence au sein de l'extension SingleFile. Une belle collaboration 100% rennaise

FYI, SingleFile already allows you to annotate saved pages...

FYI, I already removed the link to your store . I updated a new version. If you reject it again without giving me the ability to reply to you, I'll unpublish it.

If you do not give me more details for the rejection, I'll unpublish SingleFile from your store asap. It will make my life much easier! What a joke! Good luck with your new store....

Actually Google does the same in the search results. Do a right click on the link (instead of a left click) and you'll see the JavaScript function attached to "onmousedown" changing the URL.

I'm a bit surprised that Chrome allows this actually. It looks like I could even override it by default. I need to do some tests.

I profiled the code. I confirm there are some parts of it (e.g. DOM operations to read computed styles) that run much faster in Firefox than Chrome. This is the cause of the issue. I'll try simply to get rid of the timeout to fix it.

Now, I have to set it to 5000ms otherwise the content script in the frame does not have the time to return the content to SingleFile. IMHO, I consider that a max. delay of 5000ms of waiting time when receiving a message from the content script is HUGE.

Basically, when SingleFile tries to retrieve a frame content, it sends a message to the corresponding content script. It also creates a fallback timeout because there the content script might not be present. In the past a delay of 750ms for this timeout worked fine in Chrome.

Here's the bug in SingleFile, . This issue affects only Chrome. I don't have the time to isolate it into a simple test. It will be circumvented, like the previous regression.

Indeed! Users often tell me there is a bug in my extension whereas it's just yet another regression in Chrome (yes, yet another one today). It's hard to explain I'm not responsible for this. I'm slowly beginning to recommend them to switch to Firefox to fix this issue.
