I could totally lip sync on a float in a parade with no spectators. Right in my wheelhouse.

I recently did a story on accomplished Super Bowl assistant coaches. Asked the for retired strength coach Mike Woicik. They laughed because Woicik despised interviews. Markus Paul heard about my request and called me because Woicik deserved credit. That was Markus Paul.

Heartbroken we have lost such a Great Man, Markus Paul. One of your jobs was to “Weigh Us In” but it was YOU “WEIGHING IN” on us SPIRITUALLY that I will be forever grateful. Thank you for the Spots, the chats & the constant positivity. Praying for the Paul Family 🙏🏻 💙 RIP

So when you’re saying thanks today, toss a lil’ prayer in for the Paul family. They lost a lot. The NFL family lost a lot. Happy Thanksgiving.

He helped guide me thru some dark times. And I’ll be forever grateful for that. But it’s a giant f’ing kick in the gut to wake today & have him no longer be here. Especially having never told him how grateful I was. It just sucks. But he’s w/ his Lord & savior, which is #1...

Most importantly, Markus would push u to lean on faith in God. To make it to Bible study. To not let the little things slip. As I’m sure many frmr Pats can attest, he played a huge role in either getting or keeping ‘em healthy—during 1 of most successful stretches in team history

Markus was a kind man, a smart man & someone u could trust w/ the repair of ur body. That’s not a given in the NFL—a dog-eat-dog place. But Markus had a way of being authentic, helping u thru the emotional rollercoaster of getting healthy when ur job’s on the line seemingly daily

As many within football know, Markus was a tremendous man of faith. And when your f’ing hamstrings won’t stop pulling, and you can’t get back on the field for something that seems so stupid, it’s a godsend to have someone so grounded in their faith helping you thru it all...

Markus was the #2 strength & conditioning coach, Mike Woicik the head. I also had Markus as head strength & conditioning coach my 1st year in NY. Early in my career, I had a lot of issues w/ nagging injuries—hamstring problems. Markus was often charged w/ rehab training duties...

I’m waking to seeing the heartbreaking news about Markus Paul’s passing...on a day about thankfulness. So this is an easy one for me. I’m sure a lot of Pats fans may not know much about Markus. But I’m extremely thankful that he was here in NE during my time w/ the ...

I think what opened my eyes is coming up something else to do with it other than put it on turkey or dressing. If that were the only use...hard pass. But, nope, so many other things!
