My eco anxiety is sky high today. The Amazon is on fire, politicians are corrupt, endangered species are at risk, the ice is melting, the litter is piling up, the oil is spilling, the plastic is everywhere. And yet still, we show up. Reminding myself that ripples create waves 🌊

There was worldwide outcry when the Notre Dame cathedral was on fire. Why is there not the same level of outrage for the fires destroying the ?

The argument that you can’t care about climate change if you fly on a plane is expressed by the same people who say you can’t care about refugees if you don’t have them in your house. It’s designed not to get you to stop flying on planes, but to stop you pushing for change.

"You don't want to be seen with that old laptop, do you?" - what makes you think this is an appropriate message to send in your adverts?! Driving consumerism and waste and shaming people who can't afford it in the process. Shameful.

Ah I've paid much more for that on there! Guess it depends on the audience but I can't blame you, perhaps eBay is a better bet in that case!

When , an old building in France caught on fire, every major media outlet was covering it. Right now the , the LUNGS of our planet, are burning, I don't see any mainstream coverage at all. Where are our priorities?

Recycling is not part of a circular economy so am disappointed that this is the stance yourselves and many others are using. We need to REDUCE in order to make a tangible difference.

Water scarcity is a far more real and dangerous threat than many think, as brilliantly illustrated in yesterday's - every drop counts! 💧 When will water have it's Attenborough moment I wonder?

Agreed, love this place! And they use RSPO palm oil which shows a little bit of consideration and therefore a tick in my books!

Yes we know. That’s not particularly the point. Still better than plastic which aren’t going to be recycled either. Fugitive plastic straws are a nightmare. This story seems manufactured to me... McDonald's paper straws cannot be recycled - BBC News

Agree that the centre being pedestrianised would be fantastic, but public transport options need to provide VIABLE alternatives to make it really work & safe for everyone and not actually increase air pollution (regardless of the reason for them being closed temporarily)

This is what I've been thinking lately too! I've no idea how complicated it is to adopt just because you'd like to as oppose to not being able to have naturally but right now I'm of the same opinion as you x
