Itโ€™s worth noting that Clintonโ€™s vote share in every swing state in 2016 was higher than her final 538 polling average. (It was by only 0.1% in WI and 0.5% in NC) So Biden can feel pretty good about his chances in any state where he is polling at 49+%

Is there any historical example of โ€œmoderate D loses to R then progressive D beats that same Rโ€? Or is this completely theoretical?

On a purely human level, I feel so deeply sad that a single 87-year-old woman had to carry the weight of a nationโ€™s future on her shoulders right to the very last breath she took. No one should have to bear such an extraordinary burden.

PredictIt has 19%, 538 has 13%. I would say those are chances.

Mainly I was just point out that there were modelers that had 99%. Worth noting that HuffPost had 98% as well

As you can read in the article I linked, 93% is because they changed the error margin in their model right before the election. The forecast said 98 or 99% for most of October and the first few days of Nov

Updated their forecast at the last minute to end up at โ€œonlyโ€ 93%

I think that is pretty consistent with Biden at 58% to win the EC.
