One thing I left out of my Android 11 beta hands on was the improved Voice Access, which now understand screen context and content. That was a mistake - it's actually incredible. You don't have to use a grid or button numbers, you can just say what's on the screen. Watch:

Thanks for that I assume that a horizontal scrollable area in part of a web page (achieved via CSS) would also be out of scope, in addition to vertical swiping to scroll page content?

would you be able to confirm that CSS scrollable areas on webpages, do not fit into the definition for 'gestures', as you do not have to go in a particular direction to activate functionality, and therefore not relevant to 2.5.1 Pointer Gestures?

They are html buttons If you can change the colour preferences for text, backgrounds and links why wouldn't a user also want to be able to change the colour preferences for buttons?

In Firefox when changing colour preferences, the preferences aren't applied to buttons in web pages, is this a limitation of the tool or is there an option else where to change this?

I’m not aware that there has been any improvement on this, in my testing I’ve never seen a screen reader read b/i/em/strong any differently to other elements
