Woj not saying anything really new re: Horford. He's probably looking at a 4yr/$100+million deal somewhere. Boston wanted him but that's just too much. C's now focusing cap space on pursuing guys like Kemba/Vucevic

I will say this: Boston playing with a scoring guard, a bunch of wings that are all interchangeable and 1 big who just screens, rebounds and plays defense is a very Brad Stevens team. A VERY Brad Stevens team.

While noting that Brad Stevens is effusive in his praise of all opponents, here’s what he said about Kemba Walker in November …

Brad Stevens loves Kemba Walker, going back to when he coached against him in the 2011 national championship.

We can scratch "stealth." Boston and Dallas are at the front of the line that will be trying to lure Kemba Walker away from Charlotte, league sources say

Two NBA sources confirm report that Celtics are seriously interested in . I doubt the Hornets put this thing to bed pre-emptively when free-agency opens June 30. Plenty of suitors, and I assume Kemba will listen to all the pitches.

Boston's cap-room situation is a fluid one but the Celtics, as Danny Ainge has acknowledged, are weighing their various needs as we speak in both the backcourt (with Kyrie Irving -- and possibly Terry Rozier -- leaving) and frontcourt (with Al Horford exiting)

I had an incredible time working at / and would 10/10 recommend to any/everyone looking to advance in the sports media industry. Really smart people who encourage creative freedom. And easily the best kitchen snacks I've ever had in an office.

Smart said reports on Horford and Irving leaving is a surprise but he has nothing but love for those guys.
