Given SA’s history - I don’t think that attracting foreign investment at all costs, including by making it easier for mega corporations to avoid tax and other responsibilities, is the way forward. We don’t have a profitability problem but do have an accountability gap.

So 1) we are really calling this an "account gaffe"?; and 2) this guy is pleading poverty but still has a half million Rand share in a game farm? Surely professionals who abuse their positions to make millions should face hard accountability if we want to stop this conduct.
