I think that long term no OSS project can afford to not be inclusive to all fields (and individuals). Too many great projects out there, if you don't value a soft skill that person will go somewhere else.

Ah yeah, so, I would like to think that the whole "code only" bravado is on the way out. Projects used to brag about it, but I like to think that savvy projects know better.Would love to figure out goals vs. realism though.
