Far too excited about this screenshot of ’s Nova β€” it looks gorgeous. Does this mean full Django support? And whenβ€˜s it out? πŸ™ƒ

Yeah, nice... more or less, I think, any Western European (Northern European? EU even) country fits. (Don't know if you know: The middle fella is Rupert Murdoch. That Murdoch is himself foreign is a nice twist)

I think that’s why I went for a commitment of 3 months. 12 weeks I can do. (Hopefully by then I’m in the habit...)

Various family members high-tailing it to France before the travel-ban comes in. Calling it "doing a Cummings".

DjangoCon Africa Aug 5
We would like to announce the postponement of DjangoCon Africa to 2021. With more COVID-19 cases being recorded in Africa, we'd like our volunteers to focus on their self and their families safety. Stay safe and hope to see you in 2021. 🌍

Inspired by 's Weeknotes posts, I thought I’d give it a try. Initial 3 months. Will review how that went at the end.

If you're shipping a Django project that other people use, you can now explain the error emails they are getting and badger them into opening bug reports! This error reporter adds a text explanation to the top, and a tl;dr to top and bottom of the exception email:

Well, I thought you were on the West coast. Then you went and put up a picture of St Andrews. You sure that’s not the golf course on the left? πŸ˜€

This is the hurdle. For me at least the learning curve was, "Argh!!!! OK, I can use apply... Right, now learning all these classes" Took a while to get back to the "Core Concepts" in the docs.

Just one more then... (Promise πŸ™‚) Checking out a PR (without adding a remote) goes like this: git fetch origin pull/<PR NUMBER/head:<new-branch-name> Did you implement that already? πŸ‘€ If not, can I ask for it? I think then that would be my whole workflow covered. πŸ™‚

Sorry, stream of consciousness but, the remote URL can be got from the API detail response for the PR (so potentially you could show a list of PRs to pick from for the remote to push to...) Anyhow... I leave it with you. Thanks for all your amazing work!
