this summer.Whilst we enjoy catching up with friends & family, there are older people living alone who see no-one from one day to the next.Can you spare 1-2 hrs a week/fortnight to provide companionship to a lonely older person?

At Support Open Day yesterday one of our volunteers told us: 'Before I volunteered for RCS I'd been made redundant.I felt lost and without a purpose anymore. Giving my time to people who really need and appreciate me has been as much a life saver for me as them.'
