We have drafted in extra staff to help out and will send more as soon as we can. We are also trying to secure a bigger room at the University of Kent to save people from standing in the rain

Who are the people outside polling stations?🤔 They are called 'tellers' and may ask you for the number on your polling card. They use this to check who's voted so they can remind those who haven't to do so. You don't have to give them any info if you don't want to.
