Agreed. The problem with dev/beta versions is that occasionally initial support for a feature will be added, but won't actually make it to the stable version, or may just be removed. Informing that that had happened would be trickier.

Not right now, but there have definitely been requests for something like that, so it's being considered. Probably would have to do first support in the "current" version rather than beta/dev versions, is that also what you'd have in mind?

Weird, can't reproduce...caniuse uses localStorage but not cookies...unless it was the ads or google analytics.
